 Alaska National Bank Notes

Alaska issued national bank notes from three banks, with no town having more than one national bank.  The three towns were Fairbanks, Juneau, and Ketchikan. The entry price to acquire a national bank note from Alaska will be at least a few thousand dollars.  The ultimate prize is an 1882 brown back from Juneau.  The national bank note issuing period ended in 1935, years before Alaska became a state.  This fact technically makes all notes from Alaska territorial national bank notes, which are of course much sought after.
