Utah National Bank Notes

Utah issued national bank notes from 34 banks in 18 different towns.  Utah did not issue very many national bank notes.  National bank notes from Utah that were issued before 1908 are typically very expensive and hard to come by.  These pre-1908 notes include red seals, brown backs, and first charter notes.  In most cases, 1902 blue seal national bank notes from Utah are rather plentiful.  However, the towns of Myton, Delta, and Beaver City are powerful exceptions.  Provo is also a rare town.  Utah national bank notes may be slightly underappreciated in today’s collector environment because so many of its neighbors issued scarcer and more desirable notes.
